Supported Chart Types

Type Best For
Bar Comparing values across categories
Line Showing trends over time
Pie Showing proportions of a whole (single dataset)
Doughnut Same as pie, with a hollow center
Polar Area Comparing values in a circular layout
Radar Comparing multiple metrics across categories

How to Use

  1. Select a chart type — Click one of the type buttons at the top (Bar, Line, Pie, Doughnut, Polar, Radar).
  2. Enter a title — Optionally add a chart title that will appear above the chart.
  3. Edit your data — Modify labels and values directly in the table. Each column is a dataset; each row is a data point.
  4. Add datasets or rows — Use the "+ Add dataset" or "+ Add row" buttons to expand your data.
  5. Customize colors — Click the color swatch next to each dataset name to change its color.
  6. Set axis labels — Add X and Y axis labels for context (bar and line charts).
  7. Adjust options — Toggle the legend, switch between smooth and straight lines, enable stacked mode for bar/line charts.
  8. Set background color — Choose a custom background for your chart image.
  9. Download — Click "Download PNG" to save the chart as a high-quality PNG image.

Tips for Better Charts

  • Bar charts work best with 3–10 categories and up to 4–5 datasets.
  • Line charts are ideal for time-series data. Enable "Smooth" for a flowing curve.
  • Pie and doughnut charts should have no more than 6–8 slices for readability.
  • Radar charts work well when comparing multiple attributes for several items (e.g. skill scores).
  • Stacked bar/line charts show the total contribution of each dataset at each point.

Features

FAQ

Can I create a chart with more than two datasets?

Yes. Click "+ Add dataset" to add additional data series. Each gets its own color and label.

How do I delete a row or column?

Each row has an × button on the right side. Each dataset column has an × button in the header. These appear when there is more than one row or dataset.

Does the downloaded PNG include the chart title?

Yes. The PNG export captures the full canvas including the title, legend, axes, and background color.

Can I change the chart colors?

Yes. Click the small color swatch next to each dataset name in the table header to open a color picker.

Is my data saved when I close the page?

No. All data is held in memory only. If you refresh or close the page, your data will be lost. Download the chart before leaving if you need to keep it.

What resolution is the downloaded PNG?

The PNG matches the display size of the chart canvas. For a larger export, resize your browser window to make the chart wider before downloading.
