Tips

  • Hold the shape tool and drag slowly to preview before releasing
  • Use a large eraser size to quickly clear large areas without losing the rest
  • The eraser size scales 3x the stroke size for easier coverage
  • Shapes (line, rect, ellipse) snap to the canvas as a preview while dragging — the final shape is committed on mouse release

FAQ

Can I save my drawing?

Yes — click Download PNG in the toolbar. The canvas is exported as a PNG with a white background, ready to share or print. No server upload occurs; the file is generated entirely in your browser.

Does the whiteboard work on touchscreen devices?

Yes. You can draw with a finger or stylus on any touchscreen device. Multi-touch is not supported — only the first touch point is tracked for drawing.

How many undo steps are available?

Up to 20 undo steps are stored. Each completed stroke or shape counts as one step. Once the limit is reached, the oldest step is discarded to make room.

Is the canvas cleared when I leave or refresh the page?

Yes. The whiteboard does not persist between sessions. Download your drawing before navigating away if you want to keep it.

What size is the canvas?

The canvas width matches the width of the tool container on your screen and is fixed at 480 pixels tall. The exported PNG reflects the actual pixel dimensions.
